Course Description:
This comprehensive day-to-night program is designed to develop confident, adaptable shooters capable of employing pistol and carbine platforms across full-spectrum lighting conditions. The course begins with daylight weapons work, reinforcing strong fundamentals in stance, grip, sight acquisition, trigger control, recoil management, reloads, and malfunction clearance. Carbine modules include proper zeroing, holdovers, transitions, and engaging targets at varying distances. Students will build efficiency and precision through structured drills and controlled movement, culminating in seamless pistol-to-carbine transitions.
As daylight fades, the course progresses into night operations and the employment of night vision devices (NVGs). Participants will learn the fundamentals of NVG setup, fitting, and focusing, along with safe movement techniques, depth-perception management, and target identification in low-light environments. Instruction then integrates IR aiming systems, passive aiming, white-light/IR-light applications, and live-fire engagement with both pistol and carbine.
By the end of the course, students will be able to apply their daylight shooting fundamentals in darkness with confidence and control. This program is ideal for shooters seeking a single, continuous training progression that bridges the gap between daytime performance shooting and effective, safe night-vision operations.
